Let’s Make Time to FaceTime

Hi hi, I’m sharing a card that I created in less than an hour. It is inspired by MFT sketch challenge. Due to COVID-19, I’ve not been meeting up with my friends. This card reminds me to make time to FaceTime.
I mixed and matched my stash cardstock and patterned papers. The cutting was done using my paper trimmer and scissors. No die cut used.
Thereafter, I simply stamped an image from MFT stamps set and coloured it with Altenew and Copic markers.
Lastly, I added the sentiment - ‘Let’s make time to face time.’
Another look at the card.

3D Display Card 1

Hey all, it has been a while since I last updated my blog. Busy and having fun creating all these 3D display cards. Once again, I would like to thank Jennifer McGuire for the inspiration. I have many people asking about the dimensions of the card so I’m going to share it today.  I created my own template using the rainbow arch from Mama Elephant slim scene scape rainbow add on. Check out the dimensions below.  Next, I die cut the slopes using Lawn Fawn stitched hillside borders and created a path.  For the background, I stamped, embossed and inked it.   Lastly, I stamped the adorable Christmas-themed critters, coloured and assembled them.   Thanks for dropping by and hope you like it. 😊

Simply watercolour

My first encounter with watercolour was at 17. My JC Art teacher introduced it to me. Back then, I didn’t really like it as I find it difficult to control. Overtime, with practice, I fell in love with the medium. In the recent years, I have attended several watercolour classes under artists in Singapore. Now, I really enjoy painting with the medium.  Today, I am going to paint a stamped background, ‘Country Roads background’ from Hello Bluebird. I started painting the tree first. Then the grass and leaves. I used a water brush instead of my watercolour brush for quick painting. The set-up is really easy and stress-free. Just the palette, water brush and tissue.  Here a look at the completed background. I’m happy with it. 😉 Looking at the painted background, I decided to add the girl and butterflies from MFT ‘Flutterby Friends’ stamps set. To make the girl stands out, I painted the dress orange.   As the background is already quite detailed, I decided to include on...

Sending You a Double Scoopsof Birthday Wishes

Hello, today I’m sharing a birthday card created using MFT products. I bought many stamps and dies from MFT in July to pamper myself.  For this card, I started by colouring the stamped image with reference to a colour palette I came across on Pinterest.    Then, I inked the background with the watercolour stencil and distress oxide.    I added a rectangle frame as a border for this card. Lastly, I arranged the elements and stamped the sentiment.  Just in time to join MFT Color Challenge. 😉
